A simple checklist
- Are your notes accurate? (Or are they messy and hard to read when you return to the office?)
- Have you properly attributed information?
- Are the five Ws covered in your story?
- Have you doublechecked facts? (This includes any numbers, math)
- Have you doublechecked spelling of names?
- Have you done a second read-thru to self-edit?
- Have you made a printout of your work and put yourself in the position of being a reader?
- Have you spellchecked your copy?
