The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) is investigating a shooting incident which left a middle aged man nursing wounds at the St. George’s General Hospital.
The injured man, 57-year old Shermon Langdon of Mont Toute, received a single gunshot wound to his buttocks after reportedly trespassing at a construction site at Mt. Hartman, Grand Anse, St. George in the wee hours of May 16.
This newspaper understands that Langdon went to the construction site to illegally remove some pieces of board when he shot by the Manager of the site who has a nearby residence.
The injured man was taken to the General Hospital to receive treatment for his gun shot wound.
RGPF is said to be conducting its own investigation to determine whether or not the shooting can be justified.
