The first event organised by the Grenada Steel Band Association (GSBA) for 2017 as part of Spicemas takes place on Sunday (April 23) at the Tanteen Netball Complex in St. George’s.

The bands will each play for six minutes with no more than 30 players.
There is an admission fee of $20.00 at the entrance gate, which gives patron an opportunity to play bingo.
The bingo games will be run during the gap of the roll on and roll off period of time the steel bands take as a means of avoiding any length of “boring time.”
The participating steel bands will take different forms of music, except calypso, and have it arranged for pan in a calypso format.
Pan Expression is geared at keeping pan alive in Grenada.
The Spicemas Corporation is providing assistance through prizes for the competition.
