As part of its corporate responsibility, Duty Free Partners (DFP) – Sky Free Shop, at the Cruise Ship Terminal, Esplanade Mall, has donated $4,500.00 to the Grenada Kidney Foundation.
In Grenada, there is one dialysis clinic, which was opened as a private enterprise in 2006. With limited financial resources, available to patients with ESRD and the unavailability of health insurance from government, patients have to limit the number of times they are dialysed.
This also makes it difficult to keep afloat as a private sector clinic providing a critical service. The estimated cost of dialysis treatment for one patient is EC$11,180.00 per month.
Sky Free Shop – Duty Free Partners opened their doors in Grenada on January 2, 2015.
Its globally experienced team has participated in managing some of the largest to smallest Airline Duty Free concessions in the world, and additionally, Airport Duty Free concessions, Duty Free/Duty Paid stores in Cruise Lines, and border stores.
At DFP, 2% of total company profits are set aside to improve the living standards of the needy in countries where it conducts business.
The owners of DFP believe that service to humanity is the best work of life.
