The Bel Air Home for Children and Adolescents was the recipient of a donation of $2,700.00 from Grenadian/American Pop artiste, Zhavea Perry.
The donation was made last Friday at the home in Calliste, St. George.
Zhavea came to Grenada on August 2 for the annual carnival season and to promote her new single “Victim.”
While in Grenada, the performer decided to put on two performances for her fans.
The first was held at Club Galaxy on the Carenage on August 3 and the other at Club Bananas at True Blue, St. George on September 2, where she was backed by the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) band and the Street Master Evolution’ dancers.
The proceeds from both shows were donated to the home.
Zhavea is the founder of “God Bless the Child” Charity, an annual toy drive she puts on mainly for Orphans to try and help them to enjoy a good Christmas.
She plans to hold the “God Bless the Child” toy drive in Grenada this year, when she returns to the country in December.
Zhavea is booked to perform at the ‘December to Remember’ concert on December 23rd and before that on December 11 at a Christmas concert organised by the Royal Grenada Police Force musical band.
