As the 2016 Carnival Season moves into high gear, a telecommunications company is bringing all aspects of the cultural activity to the people of Grenada as a form of Midday entertainment in the city for Spicemas.
“Flow n D City” live show that is being held on the Esplande, St. George’s featuring calypso, pan and mas was launched last week Friday with support coming from the business community.
The two-hour show had a thrilling performance from the junior section of Flow Commancheros Steel Orchestra, the defending junior steel band champions.
Flow’s Marketing Manager, Kelly Mitchell used the occasion to announce the launch of the Flow Big Blue Carnival promotion.
Mitchell said people participating in that promotion can get the chance to win $500 in cash every day until August 21.
To qualify to win, participants have to top up their cell phones with $15 and over, talk for five minutes on a Flow to Flow mobile call, engage in a change over from pre-paid to post-paid, or activate a 500MB or more data.
During the Midday entertainment, which runs until August 5th, young and upcoming artistes have a chance to compete for over $5,000 in cash and prizes.
Mitchell described “Flow n D City” as an entertainment package providing “free cash, big money.”
