The New Today Newspaper has been able to unearth information relating to the alleged rape and abduction of two young ladies, 15 and 12 years of age last month.
Construction Labourer, Imron Mitchell of Fontenoy, St. George’s is facing four sexual-related charges in connection with the incident that allegedly occurred on June 23.
The charges are one count of rape, one count of sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 13 years, and two counts of forceful detention of a female for the purpose of having sexual intercourse.
A confidential source told this newspaper that the two young girls found themselves in trouble with the accused after going on an errand for their father who is a notorious prisoner serving a lengthy prison sentence at Her Majesty’s Prisons at Richmond Hill, St. George’s.
The source who does not wish to be named said the local intelligence community suspects that the infamous prisoner operates a cocaine ring from inside the prison.
He said there is information floating around that the infamous prisoner played a pivotal role in helping to post bail for Mitchell.
According to the source, it is also being alleged that the inmate communicated to his daughters who live with their grandmother to visit the released Mitchell who was charged in connection with the rape of a female medical student.
The NEW TODAY was reliably informed that one of the young girls was allegedly sodomised and had to be hospitalised after being traumatised by the incident.
