The Easter Weekend ended with 22 vehicular accidents on the nation’s road with one of them being fatal.
The Community Relations Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) said that two of the accidents which occurred on Good Friday were serious with one of them resulting in the death of one person.
Dead is David Christopher Levetti, a student of the St. George’s University.
Two others were hospitalized from injuries sustained in another vehicular accident.
In another of the incidents, which involved a motorcycle, a female was rushed for medical attention at the St. George’s General Hospital.
According to a police bulletin, another serious accident took place on the sister isle of Carriacou which resulted in an 83-year old having to be transferred to the mainland for medical attention.
The Police Force also reported that there were five reports of stealing, three reports of damage to property, one report of housebreaking and stealing, one report of robbery with violence, and two reports of wounding.
