The hit drama NO MONEY NO LOVE by Francis Urias Peters returns to the Spice Basket Theatre for one final performance on August 13 at 7:00 p.m.
The production has received rave reviews from patrons who described the action of the play as a moving and thrilling experience that was hard to predict right down to the very last minute.
The play tells the story of an aspiring song writer/singer, JASON, played by Anfernee Etttienne who has aspirations of becoming an international performer.
However, the present economic situation places a financial strain on his sweetheart, JULIA, (played by Leyanna Romain) who has to pay all the bills. This leads to tension in the relationship and as they grapple to solve their present predicament – the conflict and complications spins almost out of control.
In previous performances, Neila Ettienne’s portrayal as SABRINA, the New York Deva, came in for high commendation as an actress of immense talent, brilliance and believability.
Playwright and director, Francis Urias Peters also plays a powerful role of SAM, the expatriate small businessman who has a crush on his young house help (JULIA) played by Leyanna Romain and Tanisha Frederick.
Other members of the cast are Kathy-ann Bonaparte and Kathy Ann James who both played the role of MISS BROWNE, the nosey next door neighbour.
Tickets for the August 13 performance can be obtained at GITTENS PHARMACIES in St. George’s and Grand Anse, GRENADIAN OPTICAL on Melville Street and Spice Land Mall, BEL OF SPICE, on Young Street (Opposite the National Museum) and Spice Basket.
