21 year old Tiffany Evans of Frequente, St. George’s is the new Face of Grenada (FOG) winner.
Evans captured the title on June 13 at the Grenada Trade Center as
eight young ladies from various parts of Grenada competed for the top prize.
Evans also captured the prizes on offer for the categories of Best Introduction, Cultural Wear, Evening Wear and Speech.
The First runner up in the competition was Adonna Campbell who also captured best swimwear, while the 2nd runner up Makeba Roberts who captured best up-cycle wear.
The prize for best convertible wear, a category that showcases the various ways to wear an outfit and accessories was won by Arielle Francis and Avante Garde wear, which is a design inspired by marine life was captured by Kara Benjamin.
Adonna Campbell also won Caribbean POSH Magazine Most Photogenic and Lindonna Andrews was the Digicel’s Public Choice winner.
As the reigning Face of Grenada, Evans also won a number of prizes
including one from the Ministry of Education – a scholarship opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree with the School of Arts and Sciences Department of St. George’s University (SGU).
She will also be receiving a small grant for a project based on her platform topic which is “Establishing a Culinary Market for the Invasive Lionfish”.
The Face of Grenada (FOG) winner will also be the first Grenadian to be featured on the cover and inside pages of Caribbean POSH Magazine.
In addition, she will receive special features with Nu Woman Magazine and Potent Magazine, a trip to Trinidad to participate in San Fernando Fashion Week Trinidad 2016, as well as $2,500 cash prize and many other sponsored prizes.
Many of the FOG sponsors and supporters commended the Face of Grenada executive team for a job well done this year and for their continuous efforts in providing opportunities for our Grenadian young women.
Rehanna Warren, the inaugural Face of Grenada was bestowed a number of opportunities from being featured on regional magazines to strutting and representing Grenada in a number of regional and international fashion weeks such as her latest participation in Montreal Caribbean Fashion Week in Canada.
