The Digicel Bowl for $10,000.00 Cash promotion celebrated two winners on May 4 at the Morne Rouge Playing Field.
A total of 12 finalists were selected from among customers who would have participated in the Digicel Text to Win Competition by topping up $12 dollars or more, purchasing a Digicel 4G Data plan or by paying their bill in full and on time during the period March 3 -April 25.
All twelve finalists were given the opportunity to try their luck at bowling down stumps set up by former West Indies wicket keeper Junior Murray.
Each contestant was allowed two attempts at hitting the stumps.
Successful participants were moved on to round two and one stump was removed at the end of each segment.
Eventually two women were left standing – Addukae Noel of Carriacou and Miriam Sylvester of St. David.
Both women were then given the opportunity to try to hit one lone stump. After numerous unsuccessful attempts by both women, they decided that they wanted to share the grand prize and both went home as winners.
Marketing Manager, Kirk Seetahal said that “Digicel is delighted to reward its valued customers with innovative and exciting prizes through our promotions.
“We continue to find interesting ways to engage with our customers and reward them for their continued loyalty and support”, he added.
