There is a new head at the Passport Office of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF).
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Esau Pierre has taken up the job after a stint as second in command of the Drug Squad under Superintendent Rodriques James.
ASP Pierre is replacing Superintendent Jasmon Prince who was promoted within the past month to the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), which became vacant as a result of the recent resignation from RGPF of Anthony De Gale who once served as the nation’s Spy Chief as Head of the Special Branch Unit.
The new Immigration Chief had worked in the force for a number of years as a member of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
ASP Pierre is considered as an experienced Police Investigator since most of his years of service were spent either in CID or in law enforcement units dealing with the fight against illegal drugs.
