Sandals La Source Grenada Resort & Spa has completed a two-day health symposium for its employees necessitated by the current climate of regional and global health challenges and issues.
The first session held on October 3 dealt with the Chikungunya epidemic plaguing Grenada and neighboring islands, while the second session on October 10 examined the more global Ebola pandemic.
Both sessions were in the format of PowerPoint presentations, along with 20 minutes of activities and question and answer segments, delivered by Dr. Martin Forde, Environmental Health Lecturer at the
St. George’s University.
