A Samsung partnership with THE CELL brings the world’s most high-tech gadgets to Grenadian technologically savvy shoppers.

The Caribbean-based company officially reopened its doors to the Grenadian public last week Thursday at Granby Street in St George.

The re-opening of the company marks 10 years since the store was forced out of business due to the passage of Hurricane Ivan in September 2004.

The first store was then located on Church Street in St George’s

The Cell’s – Life is Mobile, Chief Executive Officer, Jermile Daniel recalled the opening of his store in Grenada in October 2003 and its closure due to Hurricane Ivan one year later.

Daniel who was the Chamber of Commerce Business Awardees, St Lucia, Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013 told the media during a brief opening ceremony that The Cell is now officially the largest Digicel retail outlet in the OECS.

With the official reopening of the Store, Daniel told reporters that his company has partnered with Samsung Electronics – the world’s largest leading cellular phone manufacturing company and now has a wide range of products including cellular phones, accessories and tablets available for customers.

He was confident that the partnership will further enhance the lives of Grenadians through the use of their Samsung products at extraordinary prices.

“Our prices will be very competitive – due to our partnership with Samsung, we would have preferred pricing arrangement”, he said.

According to Daniel, there are a number of low-end pricing products at the store starting at  only $89.00.

The young entrepreneur has promised high-level customer service with a difference and that one qualified technician would be available in store.

“I can assure Grenadians that you will get the level of service that you deserve here in this store”, he remarked.

Purchases of The Cell’s Samsung products carry a guaranteed six months warranty and an automatic three-month warranty for repairs carried out at the company.

In addition, early shoppers who purchase products at the store will get a special Samsung branded gift at special promotional prices as long as stocks last.

The Cell currently employs six people and according to the CEO the plan is to introduce more stores across the Caribbean.

The Cell presently operates from Granby Street in St George and Grenville in St Andrew
MIB Marketing Manager for The Cell,  Kristel Kouly encouraged media practitioners to invite friends and family to visit The Cell.

The young businessman now boasts of owning 10 outlets of “The Cell” across the Caribbean including locations in St Lucia, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, St Vincent and Barbados.
