After collaborating with the Carriacou Athletics Committee to bring the LIME Inter-Grenadine Games, LIME is refocusing their support back to the mainland.
LIME is teaming up with the Grenada Broadcasting Network – GBN, to bring a live broadcast of the 2014 Intercol games.
This is not the first time the two entities have partnered for the games. In the past, LIME’s provision of high speed internet allowed the station to broadcast the games in real time.
Commenting on the partnership, Marketing Manager, Rawlston Mitchell said that given the large viewership, neither companies hesitated to partner for this event.
“Intercol is one of the most anticipated sporting events in Grenada. Partnering with Grenada’s most popular TV station will allow those who can’t be at the games physically, to enjoy the excitement of the 2014 games. We’re proud to be a part of this initiative”, he added.
Apart from Intercol, LIME recently sponsored the Inter-Grenadine Sports Meet as the official title sponsor for the event.
The two day event was held in Carriacou and allowed the Hillsborough Secondary School, Bishop’s College and the Union Island Secondary School to battle for the title of Champion.
At the end of day two, Hillsborough Secondary School was named the champion for the second consecutive year.
