Telecommunications giant LIME has pledged their support by donating $5000.00EC to the “Together we Care” campaign spearheaded by the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Grenada HIV Care Foundation.

The campaign which is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, aims at fighting the stigma and discrimination that often accompanies individuals suffering with the disease.

In keeping with LIME’s commitment to serve and build better communities in the tri-island state, the company found it imperative to contribute to the campaign.

Similar to Scotia Bank, LIME practices good corporate citizenry by investing in pertinent issues affecting the island such as HIV/AIDS.

LIME’s General Manager Angus Steele, said the company did not hesitate in donating towards the campaign.

“When we first became aware of the campaign, we knew it was an initiative that suited LIME’s promise and commitment to our society. Thus, the company is proud to be associated with this venture to help raise awareness and contribute to research, while advocating for the establishment of a foundation in Grenada to address matters related to HIV/AIDS. We hope the bank continues the initiative as we look forward to contributing again in the future”, he added.
