For the eighth year in succession, Bryden & Minors has delivered food hampers to individuals in need and organisations that care for the less privileged.
Two hundred hampers were distributed island wide with the support of eighteen dedicated staff members with three trucks working the east and west coasts as well as the central and northern districts.
Hampers were also delivered to individuals in Carriacou and Petit Martinique. Each hamper is worth approximately EC$125 and comprised of canned foods, toiletries, juices, and basic products such as flour and sugar.
Some of the organisations receiving hampers included the Council for the Disabled, Child Welfare, and the female inmates at the Richmond Hill Prison.
According to Managing Director of Bryden & Minors, Michael Minors, the Company will continue to support this initiative in the future, and feels it is extremely important that as a good corporate citizen the Company gives back to the community, especially to those in need.
“With the current economic situation affecting everyone, it is even more essential to reach out a helping hand”, he added.
Bryden and Minors wishes to thank everyone involved in the planning and delivery of the food hampers and wishes the Nation a very Happy New Year!
