Sandals La Source Grenada opened its doors to raving reviews from guests, travel agents and the people of Grenada over the weekend.

The world class resort which boasts 225 rooms and opulent suites has taken the concept of Luxury to higher tiers of sophistication.

Chairman of Sandals Gordon “Butch” Stewart has rated it as the Sandals of tomorrow.

“This represents the most magnificent architecture we have ever created. Even though it is modern and luxurious, it fits into the authentic tropical ambiance of the Caribbean. The architecture is simply class and a fine piece of art. It has elevated what people have come to expect from a Sandals resort and resorts throughout the Caribbean,” added Stewart.

Commenting on the nine dining options at the resort, Stewart says that it is comparable with any of the world’s finest restaurants.

“This is taking gourmet to elevated heights and creating history in our company. We have included new culinary concepts like a five-star steakhouse which adds flavour to our popular discovery dining program, and have enhanced existing themes,” remarked the Sandals Chairman.

Other culinary pleasures include, Kimono’s Japanese, a fine dining Italian, Chic Caribbean and an outstanding Sushi bar, true to the Sandals style of affording the guests flavours of the world.

The luxury Sandals La Source boasts three magnificent villages offering the best of Italy, the Caribbean and South Seas.

According to the Sandals Chairman, the US$100-million investment was made possible by the cooperation and commitment of the Government and people of Grenada.

“The concessions which we have received have allowed us to plan for 25 years instead of a piecemeal, short term approach. We have never seen such a committed, resilient and skilled construction team. It’s unprecedented what we have been able to do in nine months,” noted Stewart.
