Robbers Strike Home of Hugh Dolland

Local Businessman Hugh Dolland is the victim of a robbery that took place at his home at Grand Anse St. George’s.

A well placed source told THE NEW TODAY Newspaper that Dolland was not at home when four young men, all residing in the south of the island, allegedly entered his private residence and took away jewelry valued at $110, 000.00.

All four men – Keevan Matthew who is a 23-year old mason, and 21-year old landscaper Aaron Matthew both from Jean Anglais St. George’s, and Shedell Streete, a 20-year old, and Randy Marecheau, 21-year old construction worker both residing at Belmont St. George’s – have been charged with housebreaking, and stealing.

Dolland who is the proprietor of the popular Spice Basket at Beaulieu, St. George’s, previously operated an electronic shop that was named “Today’s Wonder’s at the bottom of Market Hill in St. George’s.
