Telecommunications giant, LIME on Monday evening unveiled the long awaited and anticipated Blackberry Z10.
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell is the first on the island to own the latest Blackberry smart phone device as LIME’S General Manager, Angus Steele, presented it to him.
A host of Blackberry enthusiasts, technophiles, members of the business committee, LIME cultural ambassadors and members of the media were in attendance at the ceremony held at the Grenadian by Rex Resorts at Point Salines.
The new Blackberry Z10 hit the market Tuesday morning at a whooping price of $2199.00 but with limited amounts of the device in stores.
Customers will have to pre-order their devices using the company’s website. Receipt of the device is expected within a period of two weeks.
In his remarks, Steele urged all in attendance to upgrade their cell phones and move to the Z10.
Blackberry has revolutionised since the introduction of the device in 2009 and Steele is encouraging customers to get “the best experience”.
The bad publicity of Blackberry in recent years with the onset of Samsung Galaxy and other smart phones is being brushed aside with the introduction of the re-engineered and re-designed Blackberry Z10.
Lime’s Partner Sales Executive/Smartphones Sales Expert, Junior Checkley boasted of the services of the Blackberry and labeled it as the most secure and fastest smart phone in existence.
Blackberry is one of the most popular smart phones available in Grenada and with the introduction of the BlackberryZ10, customers are promised a powerful and unique new mobile computing experience.
With the official launch of the crazed smart phone, one lucky person would win a chance to jet off to Prague, Czech Republic to attend “a once in a lifetime concert” with international superstar and Blackberry global Creative Director, Alicia Keys.
