It was a night of fun as LIME’s Monday Nite Mas band drove through the
streets of Hillsborough, Carriacou.
The band, themed Galaxy Explosion was co-sponsored by LIME, Osprey Lines and Jigger’s Entertainment from Carriacou.
Approximately 250 persons participated in the band, and were treated to performances from artistes including Boneless, Shortpree, Mr. Killa, Luni Sparks & Electrify, Otis, Terror Kid, Boyzie, Brother B, and Laura Lisa among others.
The band started at the Hillsborough Catholic church and made its way through to Hillsborough with a mini float truck, music truck and revelers.
This was the second year that LIME participated in the Carriacou Monday Night Mas, the first venture was last year with a pirate themed band.
In addition to the Monday Nite Mas band, LIME also sponsored a J’ouvert band led by LIME Stars President, Shem Quamina earlier on Monday morning.
Two LIME sponsored bands also hit the road for pretty mas on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. These included LIME Commancheros mas band and a second band led by Peter Bain.
On Saturday, the LIME team took to the road in Carriacou for an island
wide road show.
Stopping along the different communities, the team promoted a special offer on the World Talk Calling cards for calls to the US, UK Fixed Lines and Canada,
a Top up bonus special as well as discounted prices on mobile devices.
Currently, LIME is offering a low priced installation special for new Internet
and Fixed Line customers along with a Double Bonus online credit offer.
