Shanghai –World and Olympic 400 metre champion Kirani James has warned that Grenada is capable of producing a relay team as a force to be reckoned with in world athletics. Budding fiitballers and local coaches have been privileged to have participated in the Grassroot Football Clinic that took place on April 22 and 23 at the Grenada National Stadium. Team Grenada has secured three medals at the 2013 Carifta Games, but team Jamaica continues to dominate the regional games aFthat took place over the easter weekend in The Bahamas. Secondary School Student Anderson Peters proved his skillfulness in the javelin throw to secure a Gold Medal in the Javelin Under-17. St George’s Grenada – The West Indies Cricket Board’s Selection Panel has named the 13-man squad for the upcoming two-match T20 International Series as the World Champions take on Zimbabwe.
