One man is dead while another is nursing head injuries following a vehicular accident on the Kirani James Boulevard last week Thursday night.
Dead is Kurt Cox, a 32-year old resident of Fenton Village in Grand Anse, St. George’s.
The vehicle, a White Subaru Legacy Car registration number P2955, crashed into a utility pole in the vicinity of Hubbard’s Distribution Division.
THE NEW TODAY understands that Cox had received a ride in the vehicle from the Carenage, St. George’s as he tried to make his way home.
The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The vehicle was driven by Dobson Grey, a 31-year old man from Vincennes, St. David’s.
Police are working on the theory that speeding could have been the main cause of the accident.
It is alleged that Grey who works at Grenada Teachers School Supplies in St. George was previously involved in an accident during which he had collided with a utility pole.
Speculation is rife that Police could charge the driver of the vehicle with causing death by dangerous driving.
