River Road Resident Joshua Cobb who faced a charge of causing death by reckless driving in 2012 is once again being sought by police in connection with a series of offences.
Cobb who was 18 years old at the time caused the untimely death of 56-year old Isabella Barbara Scott of Paddock, St. George’s on October 24th 2012 in a vehicular accident.
He was at the time an unlicensed driver operating vehicle number T5351 along the Paddock main road at around 3:00 a.m.
Prior to the accident, members of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) who were on a routine operation attempted to stop Cobb on Lowther’s Lane, St. George’s, but he ignored the police instruction.
Cobb sped away in a vehicle and lost control along the Paddock main road as the police gave chase.
The vehicle ran into a house just pass a gas station resulting in the woman being killed while laying asleep on her bed.
At the time of the accident Cobb who is now 26 years of age was on bail for another offense with the conditions laid down by the High Court of keeping a curfew by remaining at home between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The medium-built Cobb with dark brown eyes and black hair, is brown in complexion, and is about 5ft. 9ins in height.
