On Wednesday 5th September, the Grenada School for Special Education, The Limes, St. George’s, added another item to their list of appliances in their Home Economics Lab.

Home Economics is now the newest programme to be added to the school’s curriculum, as they have recently refurbished an area in the school to facilitate this program.

As the School for Special Education continues to contribute to the well-rounded development of the students with special needs, Courts Unicomer was proud to donate a Mabe 30” Gas stove to Students, Staff and Principal as they embarked on this noteworthy venture.

This contribution will aid in giving the students hands on training as they learn to cook and bake simple recipes as they acquire basic life skills.

The presentation was done by Shorna Williams, Courts Unicomer- Marketing Assistant in the presence of Home Economics students and other staff members at the school.

To receive the gift of a Mabe 30” Stove was the Principal Anne Pierre, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude for this valuable contribution and said that this will significantly assist them as they seek to give their students a holistic education.
